Jack Wilshere hails Arsenal’s attacking prowess as Gunners stay top of the Premier League

Jack Wilshere believes that Arsenal's attacking options can give the Gunners the edge in the title race this season

Santi Cazorla scored twice in the second half to hand the north Londoners a 2-0 win over Fulham to keep them top of the table on Saturday.

“There’s been a few players this season [who have scored], myself included,” Wilshere said. “I’ve got a few more than I usually do and Aaron Ramsey got a lot more than he usually does and then you have Lukas Podolski, who nearly scored today

“It’s good to have goals in your team and hopefully we can continue that.

“We go into every game knowing we’re going to create chances. That’s our strong point, we know we’re going to be able to score goals.

“It’s just a matter of putting the ball in the back of the net and being tight at the back. We’ve done that this season and hopefully we can continue that.

“Santi came up with the goods and we’re still top of the league so we’ve got good confidence going into the next game and we’ll look forward now.
